 This is an economic forces Association (traders, craftsmen, artists, professionals, econo-mic and educational operators) existing in a central area of Milan delimited by the roads of Solferino, San Marco, Brera, Ancona, Palermo, Balzan and Treves square.

The Association was established in 1985 with the purpose to increase the value of commercial image of this area, and also preserve and raise the ecological, property and cultural resources of the same.

It has today a hundred of members, who are operating in activities of high level of quality, in a wide-ranging economic sectors: fashion, furnishing and design, footwear, optics, perfumery, house and body products, foods, restaurants, trendy pub and bohemian meeting-place for artists.

     
 

Minguzzi Museum

 

In additional to shops and restaurants that liven up the night life, this zone offers to visitors cultural and artistic important places: the Pinacotheca of Brera with its Botanic Garden and the Astronomical Observatory; the Romanesque churches of San Marco and San Simpliciano; the Minguzzi Museum;

  the very recent Media Library of Santa Teresa, a digital multimedia library where it’s possible to consult the human knowledge to be sitting comfortably in front of a computer. This area reflects still today the image of “city district” where the human scale is still intact, and that insure to visitors a kind and warm welcome.
